The organization was founded by a group of billionaires with the well-being of Philadelphia in their minds. They sought to control the leaders that were elected to City Hall so that the leaders would look after their interests, some of which include insurance companies. The Philadelphia 3.0 Agenda
- Hold candidates and elected officials accountable for the promises they make, the policies they pledge to implement and the duties they swear to perform.
- Report on important political news from City Hall and Harrisburg. Philly Set Go will make sure it is at every important political event, from mayoral debates to City Council meetings.
- Advocate for millennials in local and state government to make sure our interests are protected and advanced.
- Support millennial aged candidates that champion the issues we care about. These candidates need our support and millennial interests will not be fully represented until millennials win elections.
- Get out the vote. Voting is still the most powerful tool in a citizen’s arsenal.
Alison does not have a typical day as she spends her days with supporters, elected officials, and staffers. She needs to be efficient and productive in her work in order for her to make Philadelphia 3.0 the success that it is today. She along with the rest of the Philadelphia 3.0 people succeed because they work with the smartest people that they can find, those that are at the top of their game. According to Alison, one of her most productive habits is the fact that she trusts the people that she works with. She is the one that hired them, after all.
